Overview

Join John and the IIRSM Europe committee for a look into the future, and a discussion on the role and shape of the branch.

The branch is only a few years old, having evolved out of a Swiss Safety network, and we have ambitions to increase the presence in other countries.

Also, Europe is big and diverse, so how can we engage with people in a meaningful way, across the whole region?

So far we have had webinars, face-to-face meetings and a couple of social events. But what would you like to see?

The branch has over 400 followers on LinkedIn and, since January, IIRSM members can formally join the branch. This gives us the potential for a really great network of risk professionals and we want to make that happen for you.

After 36 years working in HR, Operations, Project Management and EHS in Unilever, ICI and Givaudan is now working as a consultant in safety culture, behavioural safety and Human & Organization Performance (HOP). Based in Switzerland, he is a Trustee and Fellow of iirsm and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.
