Overview

Mental health and ergonomics are two peas in a pod that cannot be separated. Stress, musculoskeletal issues and fatigue in the workplace can be increased through poor ergonomic conditions like poorly designed workstation.

Ignorance of the mental wellbeing of the workforce leads to increased level of accidents, absenteeism, low employee turnover, high stress etc.

Proper ergonomics enhances employee wellbeing by reducing the risk to work related injuries thereby eliminating exposure to drained energy levels, fatigue and mood swings.

Promotion of mental health education, training on ergonomic risks, other risk factors and strategies that will be examined will improve productivity and positive image of the organization.
