About the Course

The ILO estimates that more than 2.3 million workers in the world die each year from work–related accidents and diseases.

This course provides an essential understanding of why employees should and how they can proactively play their role in managing health and safety within their area of work.

The course is aimed at those with health and safety responsibilities as part of their roles:

• Managers who are responsible for the health and safety of their teams and their area of work.

• Those working in disciplines where there is crossover with health and safety, such as HR, facilities, and compliance.

• Small business owners with overall responsibility for health and safety in their organisation.

• Other workers who need an essential understanding of health and safety so they can effectively contribute to the management of health and safety in their workplace.
